Aircall and Ubic for B2B outbound: which calling workflow fits?

In brief

Aircall is a broad business phone system with a sequential Power Dialer. Ubic is a focused B2B parallel dialer. An outbound team should choose between them by testing the call session and the CRM result, not by comparing the word dialer on two pricing pages.

If your SDRs use Aircall to call a long B2B list, the first question is not which brand is cheaper. It is how much of their session they spend listening to rings and voicemails, and whether the team also depends on Aircall for incoming calls. Those two needs point to different products.

Disclosure and method. Ubic publishes this comparison and sells a parallel dialer. Comparison established on 6 October 2026, based on publicly available Aircall help and pricing pages and Ubic’s product documentation. We have not run an independent head-to-head performance test.

What Aircall does well

Aircall combines business calling with inbound routing, a shared phone setup and integrations. Its Professional plan includes Power Dialer, voicemail drop, advanced analytics and routing features. Its HubSpot integration guide documents call logging, activities and configurable outcomes in HubSpot. For a company handling sales calls and customer calls through one phone system, those are material strengths.

The Aircall Power Dialer guide says a rep imports a list of numbers and the tool calls them in order. After each call, the rep gets time to add a note or tag before the next number. That is a useful rhythm for a shorter list, a planned follow-up or a conversation needing preparation. It does not mean three prospects are ringing for one SDR at the same time. Aircall’s pricing table also says “unlimited simultaneous outbound calls”, but its Power Dialer help guide describes ordered calls. The plan wording should not be read as proof of per-rep parallel dialing.

What changes with Ubic

Ubic calls up to three numbers in parallel, filters voicemails and puts an SDR on the line when a person answers. The other ringing calls are handled by the dialer for later follow-up. The product is built around B2B prospecting sessions, with the list, the prospect record and the call outcome in one working flow. It is not presented as a full inbound phone system with Aircall’s routing breadth.

With HubSpot, the distinction continues after the call. Ubic’s connector guide says a HubSpot contact list can become a calling list in Ubic. The SDR’s status can update a HubSpot property chosen for that list; notes, SMS activities and optional deals have separate settings. Calls happen in Ubic. Do not assume every field shown by Aircall or Ubic syncs in the same way: run one contact through both workflows and inspect the HubSpot record.

Which is the better fit?

Stay with Aircall if your team needs its inbound routing, shared phone operation or one-at-a-time call rhythm. Check the integrations Aircall lists against the CRM and support tools your team actually uses; those connections may matter more than the number of lines in an SDR session. You may already have the right setup and need a cleaner list, not a different dialer.

Try Ubic if B2B outbound is a distinct job for your SDRs and unanswered calls dominate their sessions. During the trial, use your own list and a phone you control. Check the pickup hand-off, the treatment of cancelled and unanswered calls, and the exact CRM update. Parallel calling does not make a weak list better; it works through that list faster.

Compare a real quote, not the entry price

Aircall’s pricing page places Power Dialer in Professional, above Essentials, and lists a three-license minimum. Ubic publishes monthly, quarterly and annual per-user prices. The two figures cover different scopes, so a per-seat comparison alone is misleading. Ask each vendor for the bill at your seat count and destinations, including numbers, minutes, recording needs, CRM functions and billing commitment. Our team dialer pricing guide sets out a simple worksheet.
