Dialer pricing for a team: calculate the real cost

In brief

Multiply the seat price only after you know which plan includes the dialer. Then add the numbers, calling destinations, minutes, integrations and commitment your team actually needs. A low entry tier and a parallel calling quote may describe different products.

An SDR manager asks for the price of a dialer and gets a per-user number. That is a start, but it is not yet the bill. Some vendors include their dialer in a higher tier, others price a parallel mode as an add-on, and international numbers or minutes can change the total.

Use the same team size, countries and billing term for every quote. Also specify the calling mode: click-to-call, one-at-a-time power dialing and several lines ringing for one rep are different purchases.

Disclosure and method. Ubic publishes this guide and appears in the examples. Comparison established on 6 October 2026, based on publicly available vendor pricing pages. The offers below do not cover identical calling modes or billing terms, so their headline prices are not compared. Prices, currencies and plan rules can change; confirm a like-for-like written quote before purchase.

Start with the feature your reps will use

Aircall’s pricing page displays Essentials as its entry tier, while Power Dialer is in Professional. Its help centre describes that Power Dialer as numbers called in order, with wrap-up time between calls. The public Professional starting figure is in US dollars, billed annually, with a three-license minimum on the page we checked. A buyer who needs Power Dialer should not multiply the Essentials headline price by their SDR count.

CloudTalk’s pricing page lists a Parallel Dialer add-on billed per user on top of a base plan. It advertises up to ten lines for that add-on. The base tier, integration tier, country bundle and actual quote still matter; the add-on figure is not the complete per-user phone bill.

Ubic’s pricing page offers Founder at €99 excluding VAT per user per month, billed monthly: 500 calling minutes to standard landlines and mobiles in France, with unlimited call attempts within the included minutes, 400 transcribed minutes with AI summaries after calls and 200 SMS to French mobiles, counted in segments.

Booster includes the parallel dialer, numbers, automatic rotation and CRM integrations included. The per-user monthly equivalent is €200 with monthly billing, €180 on a quarterly commitment and €160 on an annual commitment. Custom volumes and destinations are on quote. Booster markets unlimited calls for normal B2B prospecting; check the applicable fair-use terms if your volume or destinations differ from ordinary team use.

Example: five SDRs on Ubic Booster

This is simple arithmetic from Ubic’s published rates, for five paid seats throughout a full year. It does not calculate VAT, any negotiated offer or changes in team size; confirm the applicable tax treatment on a written quote.

Billing choice Monthly equivalent for five seats Amount due per billing period Twelve-month total
Monthly at €200 per seat €1,000 €1,000 monthly €12,000
Quarterly at €180 per seat €900 €2,700 quarterly €10,800
Annual at €160 per seat €800 €9,600 annually €9,600

The table is a budgeting example, not a productivity forecast. It does not assign a value to every additional dial or promise a number of meetings.

The comparison worksheet

For each provider, ask for one written answer to each line:

  1. Seats and term: how many paid users, what minimum, and when does the commitment end?
  2. Dialing mode: is the needed power or parallel dialer included in that exact tier, or added per user?
  3. Numbers and destinations: what caller IDs are supplied, in which countries, and what costs extra?
  4. Minutes and fair use: what is included for the destinations you call, and how are overages handled?
  5. CRM behaviour: which lists import, which fields or activities return, and are connector or API features charged separately?
  6. Operational needs: recording retention, transcription, onboarding, support and any setup work.

Then calculate: seat cost × paid seats × months + dialer add-ons + numbers + destination charges + other required extras. Use the same period and one currency before comparing totals. A monthly equivalent is useful for budgeting, but an annual invoice affects cash differently from monthly billing.

Price against the work, not call volume alone

A short list of strategic accounts may work perfectly well with sequential calling and careful preparation. A large B2B list with many unanswered calls may justify a parallel session. Either way, measure conversations, callbacks due and clean CRM outcomes in a trial. More attempts on a poor list are still poor attempts.
